New Hire Resources
Congratulations on your appointment to the Brewster Central School District. As you begin to transition to our district, our human resources and payroll departments will coordinate the onboarding process through our automated platform, SchoolFront. A forthcoming email will provide login information.
In accordance with New York State law, all employees working in school districts must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education. As such, either our Personnel Specialist (Instructional), Alexa Brandi-Hall, or Andrea Colombo (Non-Instructional) will contact you directly to request your social security number. This is necessary so we may verify both your fingerprint clearance and, if applicable, your New York State Teaching Certification.
You will also receive an email from our Health Care Benefits Specialist, Aliza Trupia. This email will begin to explain the District's healthcare plan, including the cost and services afforded. Additionally, vision and dental benefits under the Brewster Teachers Association Welfare Fund will be shared.
Finally, one of our payroll clerks, Michele Kolhosser or Shona Beal, will be in touch to review the payroll schedule, direct deposit, and 403(b) annuity options.
